After nine months as an English teaching assistant in a Madrid elementary school, I traveled across Europe for 4.5 months. I spent about two months hiking in Iceland and Sweden (including the amazing Kungsleden, a 470km trail 200km north of the Arctic Circle), then spent a similar amount vagabonding through Eastern Europe.
